• Mountain Summit American English School is looking for one part-time teacher for the upcoming school year. Half year contracts will run September to February. February to July. We are a privately owned school that has been operating in the Tianmu area for more than 20 years. We are looking for individuals that have enthusiasm for teaching elementary-aged students. We are an immersion-style school. We keep students engaged in learning by including STEAM lessons, projects, and holiday lessons mixed in with daily lessons. 1 year of experience is preferred. Experience with young students is a plus but not a necessity. Our Offer: • NT$700-775 per hour (6-12hrs/week) • National Health Care coverage • 6% Retirement Contribution • Weekends off School Support: • Paid training and class observations • Full class outlines • All materials will be provided • Some grading assistance • Monthly professional enrichment meetings Teacher Must: • Come from a native English-speaking country. • Present a diploma for a bachelor’s degree or higher at a recognized college or university. • Have or be able to get a police background check. • Be willing to commit to a half-year semester contract.
