Freight forwarding is one of the most important industries in global trade, but many freight forwarders still run their business on fragmented systems, manual workflows, email, spreadsheets, and legacy software. GoFreight helps freight forwarders modernize their operations across shipment management, quoting, customer visibility, workflow automation, reporting, and AI-powered productivity. We serve hundreds of freight forwarding companies across North America and are entering our next stage of growth: helping more forwarders move from fragmented legacy systems into a more modern, AI-enabled operating model. About the Role We are looking for a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Part-time Executive Assistant to support our CEO with daily administrative tasks, scheduling, travel arrangements, and personal errands. The ideal candidate is reliable, resourceful, and comfortable handling a variety of tasks independently. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities with discretion. ▍Key Responsibilities - Calendar & Meeting Coordination: Assist with scheduling internal and external meetings, coordinating appointments, and managing calendars. -Travel Arrangements: Assist with booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and travel itineraries, primarily in Taiwan and occasionally in the U.S. - Administrative & Expense Support: Handle expense reports, reimbursements, reservations, and general administrative tasks. - Personal Assistance: Help with restaurant reservations, event arrangements, personal errands, and other day-to-day needs. - Ad Hoc Support: Assist with other administrative or personal tasks as needed. ▍Qualifications - Previous experience in administrative support, executive assistance, personal assistance, or similar roles is a plus. - Strong organizational and time management skills, with great attention to detail. - Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently and follow through on tasks. - Basic English reading and writing skills, with the ability to use AI tools to assist with communication. Fluent spoken English is not required. - Comfortable using Google Workspace and other common productivity tools. - Reliable, responsible, and able to handle personal and confidential information with discretion. - Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and occasional last-minute requests. ▍Working Arrangements - Working Hours: Part-time with flexible hours, to be discussed based on mutual availability. - Work Location: Primarily remote, with occasional visits to our Taipei office (approximately once every one to two weeks).
