• 關於我們 風傳媒（The Storm Media）是台灣重要的政經媒體數位新聞平台，以深度報導與多元觀點聞名，長期關注政治、經濟、國際與社會等關鍵議題。 目前我們正積極拓展國際市場，推出英文版網站，希望將台灣的觀點與專業新聞內容，清楚、準確地傳達給國際讀者。若你熱愛新聞、擅長語言，並有志於成為串連台灣與世界的重要橋梁，歡迎加入我們的英文網站團隊。 應徵時請務必附上： ● 個人編輯或寫作作品集 ● 至少一篇作品的「草稿＋定稿」版本（以利完整評估編輯能力） ● 履歷中請註明可配合的排班時段 工作內容 ● 審核英文譯文是否忠實反映原中文內容，確保語意一致、脈絡清楚 ● 檢查並修正錯譯、漏譯、語意偏差或不精確之處 ● 修正不自然的英文語感與不符合新聞語境的表述 ● 依英文新聞慣例重新擬定與優化標題 ● 避免直譯式、易誤導或不具新聞感的標題與用語 ________________________________________ 應徵條件 ● 英文能力精通 ○ 非母語者須具備以下任一英文能力證明： TOEIC 860 分以上、TOEFL iBT 100 分以上，或 IELTS 7.0 分以上 ● 具備繁體中文新聞閱讀能力 ○ 能流暢閱讀並理解繁體中文新聞內容 ○ 非母語者須具備 TOCFL 閱讀測驗第 5 級以上能力 ● 熟悉政治與國際新聞 ○ 對政治、國際關係或公共議題具基本理解與新聞敏感度 ● 具備良好文字判斷力與責任感 ○ 文字邏輯清楚、心思細膩 ○ 能為自己交付的工作成果負責 ● 相關實務經驗 ○ 具兩年以上正式內容編輯或散文編輯經驗 ○ 具新聞編輯或網路內容製作經驗者優先考慮 ________________________________________ 工時與排班 ● 每月至少排班 60 小時，優先考慮 ● 實際排班時段可依編輯流程與雙方時間彈性協調 ________________________________________ 加分技能 ● 具網站編輯或後台（CMS）操作經驗 ● 具社群經營經驗（X 重度使用者尤佳） ● 熟悉 SEO 實務者佳 ________________________________________________________________________________ English Website Editorial Assistant (Part-time) About Us The Storm Media is a leading digital news platform in Taiwan, known for its in-depth reporting and diverse perspectives on politics, economics, international affairs, and society. As we expand into international markets, we are launching an English-language website to bring Taiwan’s perspectives and professional journalism to a global audience. If you are passionate about news, strong in language, and interested in contributing to English news quality control, we welcome you to join our team. Application materials required: ● A professional editing or writing portfolio ● At least one example showing both a draft and a final version of your work ● Please specify your available working hours on your resume ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities ● Review English translations to ensure they faithfully reflect the meaning and intent of the original Chinese content ● Identify and correct mistranslations, omissions, inaccuracies, or semantic deviations. ● Improve unnatural phrasing and language that does not align with professional news style ● Rewrite and optimize headlines in accordance with English-language news conventions ● Avoid literal translations or wording that may be misleading or lack news value ________________________________________ Qualifications ● Advanced English proficiency ○ For non-native speakers, one of the following is required: TOEIC 860+, TOEFL iBT 100+, or IELTS 7.0+ ● Traditional Chinese reading ability ○ Ability to fluently read and comprehend news content in Traditional Chinese ○ For non-native speakers, TOCFL Level 5 (Reading) or above is required ● Familiarity with political and international news ○ Solid understanding of political, international, or public-affairs topics ● Strong editorial judgment and accountability ○ Clear writing logic and strong attention to detail ○ Ability to take responsibility for the quality of delivered work ● Relevant experience ○ At least two years of professional editing or content-related experience ○ Experience in news editing or digital content production is a plus ________________________________________ Working Hours ● Minimum of 60 working hours per month preferred ● Actual scheduling can be flexibly coordinated based on editorial workflow ________________________________________ Preferred Skills ● Experience with website CMS operations ● Social media experience (heavy users of X preferred) ● Familiarity with SEO best practices
